Kate needs to get a job, says Queen

The Queen wants Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton to put to work for a charity ahead of their much-anticipated conflict being proclaimed later this year.

Royal aidoneus have revealed the Queen has in private suggested the 26-year-old should work with a children's or fauna charity to help counter perceptions she only wants to party and patronize until William pops the question.

Friends of the couple have too told The Mail on Sunday that plans are in position for Clarence House to announce the couple's booking around Christmas time, ahead of a royal wedding ceremony in May or June next year.

However, the Queen is confident both William and Kate should both be working before any announcement is made.

"There is concern at the very highest level that Kate Middleton still does not have a job," one royal source told the newspaper.

"The Queen is exquisite that the monarchy should lead by example and that the princes and their girlfriends should all be seen to be hard workers.

"The Queen has made it known that she feels Kate should get involved with a charity, maybe an fauna charity, where she can buoy be seen to be doing something proactive and something exclusively safe.

"It is important that Kate isn't seen to be doing anything controversial, and she needs to do something completely different from whatsoever of the charity work that Diana did."

Kate is believed to have already received several invitations to work with various charities, including some involving children, but has turned most of them down.

However she is a committee fellow member of a roller-disco fundraising event for Oxford Children's Hospital.

"She has quite a bad report for being rude when it comes to responding to letters," one ally told the newspaper.

"She oft fails to RSVP when she is asked to attend events. She once failed to reply to a wedding invitation from one of William's friends and it didn't go down very well."

Kate has not worked full time since giving up her job as an accessories buyer for fashion chain of mountains Jigsaw last November.

Meanwhile, Prince William has carved out a successful army life history and completed stints with the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.

His side by side mission is to expend six weeks with the elite Special Services ahead continuing his training at the Ministry of Defence headquarters and the Foreign Office.
